Kristent Ressurssenter hires Marianne Brattgjerd – a real investment!
It is with great joy and enthusiasm for the board of Kristent Ressurssenter that Marianne Brattgjerd has accepted the position of Head of Research and Health in a 50% position.
Kristent Ressurssenter is a non-profit organization and functions as a Christian think tank and financial resource channel. The funds collected go primarily to support individuals, groups and projects that work to promote a Christian understanding of reality regarding family and children, gender and sexuality.
– Marianne's academic precision and great capacity in quality assurance and processing research, studies and new legislative proposals will mean a great boost to the Christian Resource Center says a satisfied chairman of the board Per Christian Gustavsen.
Project manager Truls Olufsen-Mehus elaborates on the importance of getting Brattgjerd on board: – Her commitment and expertise will be particularly noticeable to anyone concerned with matters concerning truth and a Christian understanding of reality in the face of new ideologies .in."”
– Having Marianne Brattgjerd in a part-time position with us has the potential to checkmate numerous activists. That's how significant I think the appointment is, explains an excited Olufsen-Mehus
How was the employment of a researcher and academic with a nursing background made possible??
– Since our start two years ago, we have had a steady increase in people contributing with regular support. After we launched the website SkeivTeori.no in the spring, support increased considerably, says chairman Per Christian Gustavsen. The website documents in detail how queer theory now permeates Norwegian school textbooks.
– We are now choosing to invest in more employees, as more and more supporters are investing in us. More good news is therefore coming soon, comments Managing Director Tone Lise Gustavsen.
Brattgjerd started on October 1, 2023, and has already been almost fully booked for meetings, lectures and written initiatives. Even with both Truls Olufsen-Mehus and Marianne Brattgjerd employed, the number of inquiries from all over the country is still so high that they do not have the capacity to travel everywhere all the time to give lectures or participate in meetings, even if they would like to.
More support from more supporters, new church partners and more employees is a solution that the board of Kristent Ressurssenter believes in and is working for.
