What can we say about the number of genders?

Biologically, there are only two sexes: male and female. These two sexes can reproduce by the fusion of male and female gametes, creating new and unique DNA, resulting in new male or female individuals. This is the only way to reproduce.

Many people talk about social gender, psychological gender, or gender identity. These terms represent theories about how gender can be understood, but they do not change the biological number of sexes. They are new identities or self-perceived sexes, and are not biological sexes, but theories that are fluid and human-made, often referred to as “social constructs.”.

Some claim that there are more chromosome variants than XX and XY. This is true, but these are chromosomal abnormalities. There are men and women who are born with genetic abnormalities in their genitals, but this does not constitute new genders.

There are only two biological sexes!
