Cappelen Damm and Aschehoug publishers go far beyond education and move into outright indoctrination with their digital teaching materials.
One example shows students looking at a desk while a young teenager thinks aloud about a film on gender and sexuality. Then an adult narrator appears and “corrects” the teenager’s thoughts according to queer theory and sexological philosophy. This means that when the young person thinks there are just a boy and a girl, the narrator takes over and points to a “diversity” of genders, supposedly from a biological perspective (!), and teaches that one can “taste” whatever one likes sexually – like a cold buffet of different dishes.
This is radical teaching. It is incorrect regarding gender and leads children down a risky path that may result in regret and pain.
Our recommendation is that parents contact their local schools to request clarification, and ask teachers and health-care providers how they intend to use these materials. It is also recommended to initiate a petition to alert publishers and urge them to reconsider the current direction of their teaching on gender diversity and gender identity.
To make matters worse, alcohol is introduced at the desk, accompanied by laughter from the adult narrator.
This has no place on the screens of our children in schools.
