Truls Olufsen-Mehus

Social debater and speaker
Truls is a committed public debater with political experience and a strong commitment to educating the wider community about "queer theory". Queer theory is about, among other things, ignoring biological realities and redefining the family institution.

He has a clear pen, is an engaging speaker and creates videos to convey complex topics in an understandable way that reaches far on social media. Truls can assist congregations and parents to understand politics, legislation and propose measures at various levels.

A little about me

My main concern is the lack of a child perspective in the queer movement. Queer advocacy organizations mention that there are reports of "several setbacks" in Europe. Perhaps some of the setbacks have their roots in the radical gender and sexuality agenda towards children?

«"Pink competence kindergarten" is an important part of FRI's course activities, and they write in their political platform under kindergarten and school that: "FRI believes that children must be given good information about gender and sexuality from an early age and be met with respect for their sexuality, gender identity, gender expression." Assuming that children in kindergarten have a clarified relationship with their "sexuality, gender identity and gender expression" is very special, to put it mildly. What we do know, however, is that children's suggestibility is greater the younger they are. "In early childhood, we can be imagined to be just about anything," writes Sigmund Karterud, professor of psychiatry at UiO.

I have pointed out on several occasions that FRI and their network organizations are irresponsible in relation to the child's perspective. Because queer interest organizations and therapists claim that children with gender dysphoria up to the age of 11 know best who they are and what is best for them, not their parents. Furthermore, it is claimed that these children need irreversible treatment to "change gender", without there being any scientific basis for the theory or practice. This will make children and adolescents sterile at the age of 16 and can lead to serious and lifelong side effects. The bottom line is that most children with gender dysphoria have mental illnesses and trauma, and I argue that they should receive the right care and appropriate treatment.

Here are some topics that I have lectured on in recent years:

  • Sex
  • Pride
  • Medical treatment and born in the wrong body
  • A culture in decline
