Day event for young adults about dating culture and relationship skills<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Kristent Ressurssenter organized a successful dating event in Oslo, which we called:  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr\u00f8mmen om varig kj\u00e6rlighet<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day was created for those who have not found true love yet, and those who are newly engaged or just in love. We wanted to provide relationship skills and hope so that the audience could leave with the feeling that \u201cI have what it takes\u201d and be given faith that love is waiting. We gathered fifty participants, and the feedback has been exclusively positive.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our individualistic society has made dating more complicated. Dating today is non-binding,and neither party feels exclusive, but must be content with competing with others. Sex without commitment and marriage without rings. An entire society is disintegrating due to a lack of sustainability. We who are older must think about the future of the young. When people do not invest in marriage and do not think it is worth having children, we must once again highlight these values that give faith in the future and sustainability. What is the solution? That we talk about it and bring hope for change.\u00a0

The most beautiful thing there is, is the love between a man and a woman \u2013 a clear image of Christ's eternal love for the church. God paints a picture of a meaningful life where man and woman complement each other. The woman is created to be the answer to the man\u2019s power to initiate. Gender roles must once again be illuminated as something positive, something that creates the excitement we need, and clarifies the misunderstanding that men and women are exactly the same.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day was a combination of interactive panel discussions, contributions from courageous speakers, as well as food and music. Truls Olufsen-Mehus presented a social analysis with a view to cohabitation,and Tone Lise Gustavsen addressed Christian dating culture. Furthermore, Rebekka Hansen covered the topic of vulnerability in relationships, Bente Pladsen talked about control in relationships**,** and Per Christian Gustavsen talked about the benefits of marriage**,** and together with Tone Lise**,** they discussed differences between men and women.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We thank the participants for their good questions and useful feedback. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kristent Ressurssenter wants to arrange this event in several major cities in Norway, as a helping hand to the younger generation and to give renewed faith in love.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
